Gabor increased its sales, including revenues from its licenses, by 5 percent to €188 million in the first half of 2012. About 5 million pairs of shoes were sold during the six-month period by Gabor under the brands Gabor, Camel Active, Snipe, Gabor Kids and Gabor Home in the first half of this year. A total of 4.2 million pairs of shoes were sold under the Gabor brand alone. The core brand increased sales by 2 percent to €153.8 million in the first half of 2011. Sales under the brands Camel Active and Snipe decreased slightly in comparison with the same period of the previous year. The cumulated turnover of both brands reached €29.2 million in the first half 2012. In the first half of 2011, that figure was €30.8 million. With Gabor's licenses for handbags, slippers, kids' shoes and shoe care products, the company reached sales of €5 million in the first half of this year. Sales in Germany grew to account for 55 percent of Gabor's total sales. Expectations for the second half of 2012 are positive.
