Gabor Shoes reports a 4.8 percent increase in revenues to €414 million in 2014, including its licenses, Gabor Shop & Store and Gabor Footwear. The volume grew by 3.2 percent to 9.7 million pairs. The Gabor brand booked 6.9 percent higher sales of €354 million last year. Under the Gabor brand, the company sold 8.5 million pairs of shoes in 2014, up by 4.9 percent as compared to the previous year. The share of export sales increased slightly to 49.7 percent. The company also generated sales of €47 million with the Camel Active brand. Gabor's licenses accounted for the remaining €13 million out of the company's total sales. At the end of 2014, Gabor's managed retail space counted a total of 626 Gabor stores, corners and other types of sales points, mostly franchised, presenting an increase of 35 stores as compared to the previous year. The number of the group's employees rose to 3,386, 424 of whom were working in Germany and about 3,000 in Gabor's factories in Portugal and Slovakia. Gabor remains optimistic for the current business year. Orders for the spring/ summer 2015 were very positive.
