Genesco Improves Sales And Earnings
Genesco has reported net earnings of $5.8 million for the first quarter ended May 1, 2004, up from $3.3 million for the same period last year. Net sales came to $226 million, up from $193 million, but they were partly boosted by the acquisition of Hat World last Apr. 1.
