Gimmi Baldinini, at the head of the Baldinini shoe brand, was honored with a Triumph International award - in the category “Economy” - from the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN) during a ceremony that was held at the Russian Embassy in Rome on Jan. 29. Alessandro Cabella, the general manager of the Cavalieri Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Rome, was also honored with an award in the same category. The Triumph International awards recognize the personalities who favor the integration and inter-cultural dialogue between the people of the world through international collaboration and creativity. The Baldinini brand has been present in the Russian market with its shoes and accessories for more than 30 years and can be considered as a pioneer of Italian fashion in the region. Baldinini is headquartered in San Mauro Pascoli, near Forlì, in Italy's region of Emilia Romagna. Founded in 1910, today the company has more than 150 flagship stores around the world.
