Hong Kong-based Esprit Holdings has turned in its financial figures for the fiscal year ended June 30. Group turnover slipped by 2.2 percent to 33.7 billion Hong Kong dollars (€3.38bn-$4.34bn), while the gross profit margin climbed by 2.6 percentage points to 54.7 percent. Net profit fell by 10.9 percent to HK$4.2 billion (€421.6m-$540.3m). The company's retail operations saw a sales increase of 9.3 percent and the wholesale channel is still strengthening. The company plans to at least double revenues in China in the next five years.
