Iconix Group, the U.S. parent company of Candie’s and other fashion brands, doubled licensing revenues and earnings in the third year of operation as a pure brand management business. It achieved a net profit of $63.8 million for the year on revenues of $160 million, which are now expected to rise to $250-260 million in 2008. In the 4th quarter of 2007, Iconix posted an 117 percent increase in net income to $19.2 million, boosted by a gain from a trademark infringement suit, while its licensing revenues jumped by 76 percent to $47.4 million.
