In a significant change of management, Tod's has named Alessandra Domizi, formerly involved in fashion and retail at Google, as chief digital & innovation officer. Tod's has also appointed Walter Chiapponi as the new creative director for its women's and men's collections, starting with the lines for the autumn/winter 2020/21 season. Chiapponi, who is taking the place of Andrea Incontri, previously worked with the creative team at Bottega Veneta, alongside the brand's former creative director, Tomas Maier. In February, Tod's named a former chief executive of Bottega Veneta, Carlo Alberto Beretta, as brand general manager. Before joining Tod's Beretta served as chief client and marketing officer at Kering, the parent company of Bottega Veneta.
