In another important change of management since the arrival of Marc Lelandais at its helm last year, Vivarte has created a new position by appointing another new executive, Monique Fischer, to lead the group's international development. She is also joining the group's executive board. Fischer, 49, studied fashion in Munich, where she worked as export manager of Willy Bogner from 1994 to 2002. She then acted as international director of Strenesse until 2006 before joining another German women's wear brand, Gerry Weber, as vice president of international sales. This brand, which recently licensed Joseph Seibel for its shoes, has turnover of about €300 million in 60 countries outside Germany.
