Insolia technology, which is marketed by HBN Shoe, will be showcased in Europe through the Sensori footwear brand owned by Consolidated Shoe Europe at the MIDEC and GDS shows in September. Created by Dr. Howard Dananberg, a podiatrist, Insolia is described as an invisible technology that alters the internal structure of high-heeled shoes by shifting the weight to the heel and decreasing pressure from the forefoot to make wearing high heels more comfortable. The technology – which can be incorporated into any type of high heel, regardless of height, shape or style – is also designed to improve a woman’s body alignment, improve ankle stability, and reduce leg and lower back fatigue. The patent has been issued or is pending in over 40 countries.
