Irregular Choice, the hot British label of trendy and classy women’s shoes, will be launching its first line of clothing for Fall/Winter 2007 as part of a strategy to develop into a lifestyle brand. It will start retailing in August through a concession at Topshop’s Oxford Circus store in London. The range has been designed by Danny Sullivan, Irregular Choice’s founder and owner, and consists of 17 pieces, comprising dresses, sweaters, jackets and bags. Irregular Choice, a British brand that is said to have sold 100,000 pairs of shoes last year, says the idea for the range is “fast fashion” and that it will target 18-30 year-olds.
