Italia Holding Moda (IHM), the company recently set up by Cleto Sagripanti with a partner to acquire and develop small and promising brands of Italian-made footwear and accessories, is about to take over another shoe company, says his sister Lara, confirming a report. IHM is already owns two other footwear brands, Alberto Fermani and Les Tropeziennes, and it is making profits, with an operating margin before amortization (Ebitda) of more than 15 percent. Sagripanti has secured a distribution agreement for Alberto Fermanu with Estate, the Chinese click-and-mortar retailer. He knows the Chinese market well through Manas and theMicam Shanghai, the trade show that he has launched as president of Assocalzaturifici, the Italian shoe industry association.
