Italian shoemakers boost production by 4%
Italy's shoe production of footwear rose by 4.0 percent to €6.730 billion in 2010, driven by strong growth in exports, according to an estimate released by the Italian shoe industry association, Anci. In volume, output increased by 1.9 percent to €201.8 million pairs.
