John Saunders has announced his wish to leave as chief executive of the British Footwear Association (BFA) by the end of February, after the usual round of footwear trade show, triggering a search for his successor. Indicating that he is evaluating a couple of other options in the commercial field, the 61-year-old manager said he has no intention to retire. Saunders joined the BFA as sales and marketing director in April 2013 and was promoted CEO in November 2014. He previously worked at Van Dal, Start-Rite and Scholl Footwear.
