Kenny Wilson will be the new chief executive of Dr. Martens, starting in October, taking the place of Steve Murray, who stepped down last October and is now working again for VF Corporation. Wilson has been since 2011 the CEO of Cath Kidston, a U.K.-based brand of handbags and other lifestyle products. He worked for Levi Strauss Europe between 2001 and 2005 as president of the Levi's brand and as senior vice president of commercial operations. He then served as European president for Claire's Stores, which specialize in jewelry.
