Kering has appointed a German executive, Grita Loebsack, to the new position of chief executive of “Luxury - Couture & Leather Goods emerging brands.” She will oversee Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Brioni, Christopher Kane, Stella McCartney and Tomas Maier, reporting directly to the group's chairman and CEO, François-Henri Pinault, who has decided to directly oversee Gucci, Bottega Veneta and Saint Laurent himself. The list of brands doesn't include Sergio Rossi, which is reportedly on the verge of being sold to the Emerisque venture capital fund. The change of management follows the recent appointment of Marco Bizzarri, former manager of the whole luxury goods division, as president of Gucci. Loeback worked in important role for L'Oréal from 1996 to 2010, when she became global president of the Vichy brand. Two years later she joined Unilever as executive vice president in charge of ski care.
