Kurt Geiger’s sales increased by 12 percent in the five months ended Dec. 31, with 5.4 percent growth on a same-store basis reaching a 6 percent peak in December. Its concessions in Harrods, Selfridges and Fenwick and its airport stores did particularly well. The British luxury wholesaler/retailer, which sells at 87 locations, including more than 70 concessions, opened four new outlets during the period and plans to add many others in prime locations across the UK in 2006. It predicts significantly higher operating earnings for the past year.
