Kyaia, the Portuguese shoe maker that markets the Fly London brand, has acquired Foreva and Sapatalia, two Portuguese retailers, for a combined price of €7.5 million. Foreva operates 47 stores and has an annual turnover of around €17 million, while Sapatalia operates 17 stores and has an annual turnover of around €7 million. The acquisition forms part of Kyaia’s overall strategy to develop its distribution operations. The company expects its annual sales to rise to around €100 million by 2010.
