US cuts de minimis tariff for Chinese goods
In an executive order signed on May 12, US President Donald Trump is cutting the so-called “de minimis” tariff on parcels from China, including Hong Kong, to 54 percent from 120 percent from May 14. A flat fee of $100 remains in place.
