US plans 25% tariff for India from Aug. 1
The US President, Donald Trump, said that Indian exports to the US could face a 25 percent customs duty from Aug. 1. The Asian country could also face a penalty for buying arms and energy from Russia, helping the country finance its war against Ukraine.
