Lenzi Egisto, a major supplier of innovative textiles to the shoe industry, is going into liquidation. Its family shareholders, who refused to inject money into the company after the death of Egisto Lenzi in July 2009, have been asked to approve a proposal tomorrow to split the assets and sell them separately to two other Italian textile groups. The company employed 106 people at the end of 2012. It made a turnover of around €20 million last year, down from €30 million in 2007.
