Liebeskind, the German brand of clothing, handbags, shoes and other accessories, opened its first shop-in-shop for its Copenhagen shoe label in Antwerp at the beginning of December. The so-called “Your Premium Store” presents the shoe collections of Liebeskind's Copenhagen label over 15 square meters. An additional five to ten shop-in-shops will be opened in Germany and other markets during the first quarter of 2019. The percentage of women's shoes out of Copenhagen's total product line is still 90 percent. More men's shoe models will be developed in the course of next year. The Copenhagen label was created one and a half years ago. Liebeskind opened its first Copenhagen mono-brand store, encompassing 120 square meters, in Münster this October. The focus remains on wholesale, although the company is open to further store openings in the future. Copenhagen currently has 100 retail partners in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Benelux countries. The company recently signed a new distribution agreement with Igel, a sales agency in Düsseldorf that also distributes Drykorn, Nümph and Anerkjendt. The shoes are made in Italy and priced at €150 for sneakers and €220 for ankle boots.
