Lindsay Lohan, the young American actress, is the new face of Fornarina. She will be the icon of the Italian brand’s glamour-inspired advertising campaign for Spring/Summer 2009, accompanying the launch of a line of handbags under the brand. The brand of Gruppo Fornari, whose total turnover is expected to remain flat at around €170 million for this year, will also launch Eva, a puppet dressed up with its jeans. Fornarina stores opened in the last few weeks in Palermo and London. Los Angeles and Florence will be next, and these locations may be followed by Madrid and Berlin.
