Liu Jo, the women's apparel brand headquartered in Carpi, Italy, expects its shoe division to generate revenues €34 million in 2019, up from €24 million in 2018, with sales of one million pairs of shoes. Liu Jo's shoe line was launched in 2016 through Eli, a new joint venture created by Marco Marchi, Liu Jo's chairman, and Maurizio Croceri, Eli's chief executive and shareholder. Most of its revenues (85%) come from the wholesale channel. By geographic region, 50 percent of the revenues come from Italy and 50 percent from international markets, mainly France, Germany, Benelux, Spain and Portugal. Sneakers account for 60 percent of the revenues.
