LK Bennett has appointed Jo Hooper to the newly-created position of group product director. Hooper will report directly to the company's chief executive, Robert Bensoussan. She will lead the design, buying and merchandising teams on a global level. She will be responsible for the product vision and strategy across all of LK Bennett's core categories including footwear, ready-to-wear, bags and accessories. Prior to joining LK Bennett, Hooper was womenswear buying director at John Lewis, where she had introduced new brands and developed the company's own portfolio. Before that, she held design management and buying roles at Debenhams, where she worked from 1998 to 2002. LK Bennett has also announced it will move in January to a new 17,743-square-foot headquarters at Rivington House, on London's Great Eastern Street.
