Lloyd Shoes has promoted Andreas Schaller to a position similar to that of a chief executive as “speaker” of the executive board. He will focus on global brand management and product development, while driving the expansion of the German men's footwear manufacturer into women's shoes and accessories. Schaller has been responsible for sales and marketing at Lloyd since 1989, and from 2007, he held the same responsibility within the management board. In another change, Jörg Wetzel, a member of the executive board since March 2016 who has been responsible for finance and controlling, human resources and IT, will also take on the responsibility for logistics and e-commerce. Poul Haugaard Petersen will lead Llody's production facilities, supporting technical innovations in the area of product development and manufacturing. His tasks will include the optimization of the international purchasing and procurement structure in view of changing market conditions.
