LVMH is set to operate 24 manufacturing sites in Italy by next year with the opening of a new jewelry plant for Bulgari and an eyewear factory for Céline and other brands in partnership with Marcolin. It already operates the Rossimoda shoe factory and a shoe factory in Italy for Louis Vuitton, among others. The leathergoods manufacturing operations of Céline and Fendi will be enlarged. Some of the leathergoods and jewerly workers will be trained at an institute being transferred to Palazzo Pucci in Florence, working in synergy with a couple of local training centers. Another one is planned in the Veneto region for the shoe sector.
