LVMH reports organic growth of 7 percent for the third quarter ended June 30, but organic sales in its Fashion & Leathergoods segment increased by only 3 percent, representing the worst performance within the group. The segment's sales had a booked an organic increase of 10 percent in the second quarter. For the first nine months of the year, the leading luxury goods group reports overall organic growth of 6 percent. Boosted by the relatively low value of the euro, total revenues increased by 18 percent to €25.3 billion during the nine-month period, with a rise of 16 percent in Fashion & Leathergoods to €8.87 billion. Strong growth was recorded in Europe and the U.S., and Japan experienced acceleration. Sales continued to increase at Louis Vuitton, especially in leathergoods.
