Mariella Burani Fashion Group raised its revenues by 11.5 percent to €117.6 million in the 1st quarter of 2005, thanks in part to the strong performance of its leathergoods division, particularly the Francesco Biasia, Baldinini and Braccialini brands. Operating income rose by 12.8 percent to €14.5 million before depreciation and amortization, and by 15 percent to €9.3 million before interest and tax. Pre-tax income grew by 18.7 percent to €6.9 million.
