French footwear exports down 3% in the first 8 months of 2025
French exports of footwear totaled €3.523 billion in the first eight months of 2025, down by 3 percent year-over-year, while imports were up by 3 percent at €5.597 billion, according to data released by Alliance France Cuir, the trade association representing the country’s leather and leather goods industry.
