Massimo Donda, the young and dynamic chairman of CEDDEC, the European shoe retailers’ federation, has launched a new European Buying Group Committee. Open to representatives of all the buying groups in all the European countries, the committee is expected to meet at least twice a year to allow the members to know each other and to decide among themselves what to do next. The initiative was supported by the representatives of buying groups from six different countries (Austria, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy, Norway) at a meeting in Istanbul during the AYMOD exhibition. They were part of a delegation of 20-odd trade operators, led by Donda, who were invited to visit the Turkish shoe fair.
