MBT is placing its Italian and Spanish sales subsidiaries under common management. They will both be run by Dario Bonazza, who has been with the company for almost two years. For his part, Benjamin May is leaving as general manager of MBT Spain to act as general manager of Grupo Footez, a four-year-old Spanish subsidiary of iAccess Corporation of Ireland that specializes in the manufacture and distribution of footwear and related products throughout the Iberian Peninsula. It has its brand of comfort shoes, Agilis Barcelona, and represents exclusively various brands including Vivobarefoot. Reportedly, one of his plans is to introduce new brands into the market, and to launch new trends internationally. May ran MBT rather successfully in Spain since its introduction to the country eight years ago.
