MOCAP, the Portuguese shoe fair, welcomed only 515 visitors last month, indicating a further decline in attendance in spite of its move to new premises and a shortening to two days in the duration of the event. Half of the visitors were foreigners, mostly from Spain and France. Part of the reason may have been a conflict of dates with two Italian shows, Expo Riva Schuh and Fashion Shoe & Leathergoods, as well as Bread & Butter in Berlin. Among the 180 exhibitors, the following ones reportedly got innovation prizes at the fair: Aerosoles, Fly London, Dieba, Helsar, Via Nova, Intrabol, For Ever, Cei and Expandindustria.
