Monique Lhuillier, the designer of bridal and ready-to-wear apparel as well as stationery, tabletops and fragrances, is adding shoes to her repertoire through a license with Ask Alice of New York. The initial 15 styles will expand to a full collection for autumn 2013 and include day, evening and bridal footwear selling for $595 to $1,195. The shoes will be produced in Italy and sold at Lhuillier's stores as well as through as-yet-unknown retail partners. Ask Alice is headed by Sebastian Marzaro, formerly the president and chief executive of Rossimoda, Bally North America and Casadei USA.
