New national collective exhibitions by companies from South Africa, Russia and Bulgaria are going to participate in the Expo Riva Schuh show starting at Riva del Garda in Northern Italy tomorrow. They will join groups from China, India, Brazil, Portugal, Spain, Indonesia, Pakistan, Hong Kong, Tunisia and Turkey at the world's largest trade fair for low and medium-priced footwear. The involvement of the South African Leather Export Council followed the first of a series of road shows to strategic markets being undertaken by the organizers of Expo Riva Schuh. The 88th edition of the fair will host a total of 1,464 exhibitors from 40 countries on an exhibition area of 32,290 square meters during the next four days. As usual, a conference will be held on the first day with a talk on the movement toward omni-channel retailing for footwear given by a consultant to the fashion business, Daniel Agis Branchi.
