Next week’s GDS fair in Düsseldorf will present 1,870 collections by 800 exhibitors, compared with 1,950 collections and 820 companies last September. Samsonite, Scholl Studio, Babybotte and Steve Madden will be among the new exhibitors. The simultaneous Global Shoes fair will have 310 exhibitors, down sharply from 449 last September.
