Niki, an Italian manufacturer of men’s shoes, has launched a new line of 10 models whose cotton lining incorporates very thin cotton metal filaments which help to reduce stress, static energy and bacterial, while regulating the temperature around the foot. Called Ramino, the collection, which carries prices of between €75 and €84 a pair, got an excellent response at the MICAM and Expo Riva Schuh fairs, particularly from customers in Italy and France. Nike has obtained the exclusive rights to use this fabric technology, developed by an Italian research studio, in men’s shoes.
