NilsonGroup reported record results for 2010. The pre-tax margin went up to 10.5 percent of its consolidated sales, which rose by 9.9 percent to 2,442.6 million Swedish kronor (€266.5m-$385.6m), from 7.8 percent in the prior year. The sales increase was 10.4 percent in Sweden and 8.2 percent in other Scandinavian countries. The Nilson Shoes chain had the biggest sales increase within the group with 18.2 percent. Nine new stores were opened in 2010, and NilsonGroup plans to open about 20 new stores in 2011. NilsonGroup currently sells all its collections online, and its e-commerce operations are growing.
