No. Six, the company of José Neves that owns the Swear footwear brand and licenses the Buddhahood name for footwear, generating £3 million (e4.3m-$5.6m) from these two businesses alone in 2003, is launching the first commercial women’s footwear lines of Zakee Shariff, a British fashion designer, and Peter Jensen, a Belgian fashion designer, for Spring/Summer 2005. They were presented at the Eye2Eye trade show in London in September. The company is also opening its own concession in Selfridges, the London department store, selling all of its women’s lines, also including PPQ, Eley Kishimoto and Tony Cappiello. Besides these lines, No. Six licenses the To & Co brand for men’s footwear. Swear has two stores in London, one in Covent Garden and the second one on Carnaby Street. Buddhaood has one store in Covent Garden.
