Norwegian shoe retailers saw their sales decline by 0.9 percent in the first nine months of 2018, according to official statistics. On the other hand, total imports of footwear into the country grew by 5.9 percent to 4.71 billion Norwegian kroner (€468.8m-$534.1m), with leather shoes down by 3.6 percent, canvas shoes up by 9.8 percent and plastic and rubber shoes up by 6.3 percent.
