Patrick Cox is strengthening its collection of accessories. It will propose an expanded line of handbags and small leathergoods for the Spring/Summer 2006 season, and plans to add to this product line in every following season. The company currently has no plans for apparel. At the same time, the company has been letting go of other licenses and to be more organized under the Patrick Cox umbrella. The company is seeing growth in the UK, France, Russia the Far East and the USA, but it would not provide any figures. The number of production facilities that it is using in Italy has increased from two to about ten in the course of the last two seasons. Patrick Cox, who is concentrating again on his own brand after a stint as creative director of Charles Jourdan, celebrated his 20th anniversary in the shoe business during last month’s London Fashion Week.
