Philippe Model, the French brand of high-end sneakers and various accessories, is likely to be sold by an English fund, WFM, to 21 Investimenti, the private equity firm run by Alessandro Benetton, according to Pambianconews. The price of the transaction should be higher than €90 million, nine times last year's operating earnings before amortization (Ebitda). The Italian agency reports that Philippe Model grew by 12.4 percent last year to €33.3 million and that its Ebitda increased by 30.3 percent to €10.6 million.
