Quick Schuh, the retail franchising operation run by the ANWR group, is bringing two new employees to the executive suite of its company. Together, Alfred Pusswald and Thomas Bast will be succeeding Jochen Obrecht in his post as chief executive. The 51-year old longtime CEO will be leaving in order to spend more time on the development of the recently created Garant Schuh Germany. Bast and Pusswald will both be sitting on the executive board of Quick Schuh. Bast will be taking care of the commercial management of the company, as he has worked for the Garant Group for a long time and has also been responsible for the Goldkrone Group in Offenbach near Frankfurt in his post as commercial director. Bast will be running the franchise network of Quick Schuh from Jan. 1, and Pusswald will take over his new responsibilities from July 1, 2012. He will be managing the company's merchandising and sales. At the moment, Pusswald is CEO at Wortmann in Austria.
