Reebok International is selling the Polo Ralph Footwear license back to Ralph Lauren for $110 million in cash eight years after acquiring it. When Reebok got the Polo license in 1996, it was a $35 million business consisting of men’s and women’s dress collections. In 2004, combined sales of Ralph Lauren footwear and Greg Norman golf shoes, which are also in Reebok’s stables, rose by 6.6 percent to $209.8 million.
