Rejecting Gucci's claims, a French court has ordered the brand to pay €30,000 to Guess because of the nuisance caused by its six-year-old trademark dispute with the American firm. Gucci had requested damages of €55 million, arguing that it had infringed its Three G trademark. Gucci lost a similar case against Guess in a Milan court in 2013. Gucci expressed disagreement with the latest court decision and said that it would certainly appeal.
