Repetto has decided to suspend its women's ready-to-wear line after the spring/summer 2017 collection. First launched in the spring of 2013, it has not been faring well, according to the company's management because of difficult price positioning for a French-made product. It is reportedly more confident about the saleability of Repetto's new line of “active” clothing being launched this autumn. Designed by a former creative director of Marithé & François Girbaud, it is meant for use by dancers during training as well as for everyday wear.
