Deichmann has chosen Targomo’s technology to support it in its site selection in Germany, where it operates more than 1,400 stores. The German footwear retailer will use the company’s location intelligence platform to predict the potential of new sites and further improve the performance of existing shops.

Deichmann, which operates in 30 countries with chains such as Deichmann, vanHaren and Rack Room Shoes, has selected the location analytics platform TargomoLOOP for a pilot project.

TargomoLOOP is an AI-powered platform to analyze a network of locations with numerous location-related statistics. By combining locations with demographic data and travel time calculations, the platform allows companies to more quickly and easily identify sites that are best reachable for as many customers as possible, according to Targomo.

The platform also helps to forecast the revenue of potentially new locations and analyze the profitability of existing sites.

Targomo was founded in 2013 and is based in Berlin and Potsdam and has customers in more than 20 countries.
