Schuhplus, the German mail-order retail specialist for extra-large men’s and women’s shoes, is expanding its retail network with six new store openings across the country.

After the recent announcement of a 125-square-meter store in Leipzig’s main railway station, the retailer prepares to open new locations in Dresden, Munich, Nuremberg, Erlangen and Frankfurt in the coming weeks.

The new stores, spanning between 125 and 200 square meters, will be in operation by the end of July.

While the Leipzig-Promenaden Hauptbahnhof store will open on May 28, the Dresden store at the Altmarkt-Galerie will open on June 6, the Munich store at the Olympic shopping center on June 17, the Nuremberg store at the Franken-Center on July 3, the store at the Erlangen Arcaden on July 16 and the Frankfurt NordWestZentrum location on July 30.

The company also plans new openings - possibly in Berlin and North Rhine-Westphalia - at the start of the upcoming autumn/winter season.

With the new openings, Schuhplus plans to have a nationwide network comprising 15 stores by the end of the year.
