Richard L. Markee has been named to the board of directors at Collective Brands for a three-year term. He is the executive chairman at Vitamin Shoppe, where he was the chief executive until April 4. The 58-year-old has also held leadership positions with Babies ‘R' Us and Toys ‘R' Us.
