Ricosta has announced its decision to withdraw from the direct distribution of its products to Amazon, starting with the next autumn/winter collection. The German children's footwear specialist says it want to strengthen its retail partners, supporting their omni-channel activities and enabling better planning. The company said the move follows the strong development of the retailers' own activities on the internet, including their participation in marketplaces, also in order to reach out to customers in remote areas. According to Ricosta, more than 50 percent of the retailers now use various means of distribution.
