Roberto Botticelli has signed a global licensing agreement with Roberto Capucci, a Roman apparel company specializing in large-sized garments with asymmetrical shapes. The first collection of shoes for men and women will come out in the spring of 2011 and will be mainly sold in Botticelli's 22 single-brand stores, six of which are company-owned. Botticelli had a small sales decline last year compared with the 2008 level of €30 million, mainly due to lower sales in Russia and other countries formerly belonging to the Soviet Union.
